Chief Judicial Magistrate Ms. Surbhi Prashar, in an interactive session with students and faculty, emphasized the importance of regular study for aspiring judicial magistrates, encouraging the pursuit of a career in law. She shared insights into the responsibilities and challenges of the role, inspiring aspiring legal minds to contribute meaningfully to the justice system.
Under the guidance of Dr. Jaskaran Singh & Mr. Ajay Malik, students embarked on a transformative visit to the Punjab & Haryana Court, Chandigarh. Witnessing live court proceedings, students gained firsthand insight into legal processes. They engaged with honorable judges and senior advocates, broadening their understanding beyond textbooks.
Chandigarh Law College, Jhanjeri (Mohali) organized 2nd National Seminar on "Emerging Trends in Law and Technology". The seminar was sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), North Western Regional Centre, Punjab University, Chandigarh. 83 papers presented at a National Seminar: 25 from CLC students, and 11 from CLC faculty.
"Interactive Session on Legal Aid and Legal Practice" took place at CLC Jhanjeri, aiming to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application in law. Renowned practitioners shared insights on the importance of legal aid in ensuring access to justice and the realities of legal practice. The session fostered a dynamic exchange between students and professionals, exploring case studies.
