A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree that enables students to learn about the science and practice of medicine and drug development.

It is a lateral entry program that provides students with advanced knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice and research.
(Bachelor Of Pharmacy) LEET
This is a two-year program that trains students in pharmaceutical science and prepares them to work as pharmacists.
Diploma in Pharmacy
It is a 3-year undergraduate degree program that focuses on laboratory testing and analysis of biological specimens for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Medical Lab Science
It is an undergraduate program that teaches students to diagnose and treat eye diseases, prescribe corrective lenses, and perform vision tests.

Biotechnology
It is a 2-year undergraduate course that trains students in clinical laboratory procedures and diagnostic techniques used in medical science.
Medical Lab Science (LEET)

Forensic Science

An enriching industrial visit was organized for the D. Pharmacy students of Chandigarh Pharmacy College, Jhanjeri, Mohali, to Alaina Healthcare, Baddi. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the pharmaceutical industry, enhancing their understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
Chandigarh Pharmacy College, Jhanjeri, Mohali organized an educational visit for B. Pharmacy students to Alkem Laboratory, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The trip aimed to provide insights into the pharmaceutical industry, its significance, operational mechanisms, and various critical aspects.
The field visit to Indus International Hospital, Derra Bassi provided students with practical knowledge and an opportunity to observe and learn about various operation theatre procedures, surgical techniques, equipment, and safety protocols implemented in a healthcare facility.
The Department of Optometry, Allied Health Sciences CGC, Jhanjeri, Mohali, organized a hospital visit for their students at PC Sharma Eye Hospital, Ambala, Haryana to provide our students with an experiential kind of learning and an opportunity to observe and learn about various aspects and workings in eye healthcare with newer technologies & facilities.
The industrial trip to Central Research Institute (CRI), Kasauli, organized for the B.Sc. Biotechnology by CGC Jhanjeri, Mohali, was a resounding success, offering students invaluable insight and development in the field of medical and public health, the manufacture of vaccines, and antisera.
An industrial visit was organized by the Department of Biotechnology for students to explore research activities at the National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) and the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB), Mohali to provide students with insights into the field of biotechnology and its applications in agriculture, food processing, and bio processing.
A group of enthusiastic Medical Lab Science students from CGC, Jhanjeri embarked on an enlightening journey to Oniosome Healthcare, a leading pharmaceutical research and development company to gain practical insights into the pharmaceutical industry, understand the functioning of various laboratories, and witness the cutting-edge equipment.
CGC Jhanjeri organized an Expert Talk on "Introduction & Scope of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology," offering insights into recent advancements, evidence-based approaches, challenges, and current practices. Attendees gained valuable knowledge about the evolving landscape of medical imaging technology and its applications.
Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, hosted an Expert Talk on "Anthropological Tools in Forensic Sciences" by Dr. Kewal Krishan. He shared experiences and case reports from Indian government agencies, US homeland security, and medical colleges. Emphasizing a holistic approach, he discussed fingerprints, gait patterns, footprints, bitemarks, and smoking patterns.
Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, organized an Expert Talk on "Present and Futures of Forensic Sciences" by Dr. Mukesh Kumar Thakar, a former crime scene investigator. He discussed forensic fundamentals, laws, the "Innocent Project," scientific expert roles, and emphasized DNA, phenotyping, and brain fingerprinting's significance in forensics.
An Expert Talk on "Upcycling Agri-Biomass: A Sustainable Approach for GenZ's Future" was organized by CGC Jhanjeri for B.Sc. Biotechnology students. The session delved into advanced biotechnology research, highlighting the derivation of functional nanomaterials from agri-waste-based lignin, biomedical and industrial applications like nanospray coatings, films, hydrogels etc.
Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri hosted a seminar on Recent Trends in addressing Lifestyle Disorders: Nutrition, Diagnostics, and Managing Routines by Dr. Mridula Chopra conveying awareness of the significance of healthy nutrition in bringing cancer consciousness forth. She raised awareness related to Cancer issues and its prevention as well as cure.
