CGC Mohali Successfully Kicks Off the Employee Sports Fiesta 2024 Mohali has successfully launched its highly anticipated Employee Sports Fiesta, which began on November 30th and will run through December 24th. This exciting, month-long celebration, organized by the HR Department, Department of Student Affairs, and Department of Sports, brings together the CGC community for a series of action-packed events aimed at fostering teamwork and boosting morale among staff and faculty. The Employee Sports Fiesta features a wide variety of events designed to cater to all interests. From the high-energy 100 Meter and 200 Meter Races to the fun-filled Lemon Race and 3-Leg Race, the fiesta promises a thrilling and engaging experience for everyone. Traditional athletic challenges like Long Jump and Shot Put have allowed participants to showcase their skills, while team sports such as Volleyball, Basketball, Football League, and Cricket League have encouraged camaraderie and friendly competition. Additionally, more relaxed activities such as Arm Wrestling, Carom, Table Tennis, Chess, and Tug of War have kept the excitement alive, with each event offering something for all tastes. The festive atmosphere was further amplified by the ever-popular Musical Chair! The inauguration of the Employee Sports Fiesta took place on November 30th, with the Honourable Chairman, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, officially opening the month-long celebration.
