Naya Savera Foundation Empowers Rural Women with "Rasoi Ton Rozgar" Workshop

In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at uplifting rural communities, CGC Jhanjeri's Naya Savera Foundation, under the esteemed leadership of its President, Ms. Bismin Dhaliwal, organized a transformative five-day kitchen workshop titled "Rasoi Ton Rozgar" in Cholta Khurd, Mohali. The workshop, held in collaboration with the PNB Farmers Training Centre, Fatehgarh Sahib—a government organization—equipped 28 rural women with valuable culinary and entrepreneurial skills.

The workshop focused on imparting hands-on training in the preparation of pickles, chutneys, jams, candies, and murabba, turning everyday recipes into profitable business opportunities. Guided by Harpreet Singh Sidhu, Director of the Training Centre, the program provided participants with the practical knowledge and confidence to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.

Certificates were awarded to all participants at the conclusion of the workshop, marking their accomplishment and readiness to transform these newly acquired skills into sustainable livelihoods. The event resonated deeply with the local community, inspiring hope and fostering independence among the women.
