CGC Jhanjeri Presents an Eye-Opening Nukkad Natak on Cybercrime Awareness
The Department of Forensic Science at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Jhanjeri organised a compelling Nukkad Natak to raise awareness about the growing menace of cyber fraud and cybercrime. The performance captured the audience’s attention with its engaging storytelling and strong educational message, shedding light on the dangers lurking in the digital world.
The natak highlighted how easily cyber criminals exploit the widespread use of mobile phones and the internet. It followed the journey of a young individual who unknowingly clicked on a suspicious link and became the victim of a cyber scam. With the help of a friend, the incident was reported to the cybercrime cell, where the investigation unfolded using techniques like VPN tracking to apprehend the perpetrator. The play illustrated how criminals manipulate digital platforms to target unaware individuals and stressed the importance of awareness in preventing such crimes.
The production was brought to life by students from the Bachelor of Forensic Science program at CGC Jhanjeri, whose dedication and performance captivated the audience. Their collaborative efforts in scripting and acting ensured the event's success.
The Nukkad Natak not only entertained but also imparted critical lessons about cybercrime prevention. The audience learned how to protect themselves from online fraud and gained insights into the techniques used by both criminals and law enforcement. The play emphasized the importance of vigilance in the digital era, where even a small misstep, such as clicking an unknown link, can have serious repercussions.
Through this impactful initiative, CGC Jhanjeri successfully blended education with entertainment, leaving a lasting impression on the audience and encouraging greater awareness of cybercrime prevention.
