CGC Mohali Hosts Successful Road Safety Awareness Session

Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri, Mohali recently organized a Road Safety Awareness Session, focusing on the importance of adhering to traffic rules and promoting safe driving practices. The session was led by DSP Mohali, Mr. Karnail Singh, who addressed the pressing issue of rising road accidents and their root causes.

During his address, DSP Karnail Singh emphasized how the casual disregard for traffic regulations often results in avoidable tragedies on Indian roads. He shared actionable insights on minimizing accidents through responsible driving and urged participants to adopt safety as a personal and collective responsibility.

The event saw enthusiastic participation, with over 100 students taking a pledge to follow traffic rules, drive responsibly, and abstain from alcohol consumption while driving.
