Chandigarh Law College Jhanjeri Illuminates Human Rights Awareness

Chandigarh Law College Jhanjeri recently hosted an insightful session on "Awareness of Human Rights" on February 27, 2024. The event aimed to deepen understanding of the significance and purpose behind the establishment of human rights. Renowned IPS officer, Sh. Prabodh Kumar, Spl. DGP on Punjab State Human Rights, graced the occasion as the keynote speaker, offering valuable insights.

The session, chaired by Sh. Prabodh Kumar saw esteemed attendees including Ms. Bismin Dhaliwali, Director of Office of Students Welfare, and faculty members from Chandigarh Law School. Approximately 200 students actively participated, showing great enthusiasm and engagement.

Dr. Tufail Ahmed Khan, Director of CLC, formally welcomed Sh. Prabodh Kumar to commence the session. Various aspects of human rights were discussed, shedding light on their importance in contemporary society.

The event culminated with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Gurdeep Kaur, Head of Department at CLC, expressing gratitude to all participants for their valuable contributions. This session not only enriched understanding but also fostered a spirit of awareness and activism among attendees regarding human rights issues.
