Empowering Students with Entrepreneurial Awareness Program
Chandigarh College of Engineering, Jhanjeri, in collaboration with MSME, DFO Ludhiana, and the Government of Punjab, recently organized a transformative Entrepreneurship Awareness Program. Attended by 189 students, this initiative aimed to equip budding entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources essential for thriving in the dynamic business landscape.
During the program, students were introduced to a plethora of schemes offered by both the Government of India and the Government of Punjab, designed to enhance the global competitiveness of Indian MSMEs. From technical consultancy services to support for ISO certifications and participation in international trade fairs, the session enlightened students about various avenues available for entrepreneurial growth and development.
With access to schemes such as the MSE Cluster Development Programme, Quality Management Standards, and Credit Guarantee for Micro & Small Enterprises, students were inspired to leverage these opportunities for long-term capital growth. By fostering awareness and providing valuable insights into entrepreneurship, Chandigarh College of Engineering empowers its students to become the next generation of successful business leaders, contributing to the economic prosperity of the nation.
